Hosting and logfiles
This website is hosted by Serverprofis.de and delivered through Cloudflare (content delivery and protection against attacks). When you visit the site, the hosting provider automatically stores information in so-called logfiles that your browser sends with every request:
- IP address
- date and time of the request
- the page requested and the HTTP status code
- amount of data transferred
- the website from which the request came (referrer)
- browser, operating system and language
This data is needed to deliver the website and keep it secure (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). It is not combined with other data sources. We reserve the right to review it if there are concrete indications of unlawful use.
SSL/TLS encryption
For security reasons this website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by “https://” in your browser's address bar and the lock icon. Data you send to us cannot be read by third parties.
Consent management (InMobi Choice)
When you first visit the site, we ask for your consent to cookies and similar technologies used for advertising and analytics. For this we use InMobi Choice, a consent management platform that implements the IAB Transparency & Consent Framework (TCF 2.2). It stores your choice in a cookie in your browser so that we do not have to ask again on every visit. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time:

Route planner: maps and route calculation
To show maps and calculate routes, your browser connects directly to the following providers. They receive your IP address and, where needed, the addresses you enter:
- Mapbox (Mapbox Inc., USA): the start and destination addresses you enter are sent to Mapbox to find their coordinates and calculate the route. Privacy policy: mapbox.com/legal/privacy
- Google Maps map tiles (Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC): the map images are loaded from Google's servers. Privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy
- Leaflet (the map library), loaded from the unpkg.com content delivery network.
Without these connections the route planner cannot work (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in providing the service). We do not store the addresses you enter.
Advertising (Assertive Yield and Google Ad Manager)
This website is free to use and is funded by advertising. Ads are delivered by Assertive Yield B.V. (Netherlands) using Google Ad Manager (Google Ireland Ltd.) and the advertising partners connected to them. Before a route is shown, a rewarded ad may be displayed.
With your consent, these providers use cookies and similar technologies to show ads, limit how often you see the same ad, measure ad performance and, where you have agreed, show personalised ads based on your interests. Without consent, only non-personalised ads are shown. Data such as your IP address, browser information and the pages you visit may be transferred to these providers, including to countries outside the EU. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can withdraw your consent at any time with the “Change privacy settings” button above.
Privacy policies: Assertive Yield, Google advertising. You can manage Google ad personalisation at adssettings.google.com.
Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads conversion tracking
With your consent we use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service of Google Ireland Ltd., to understand how visitors use the website. Google Analytics uses cookies and stores information about your use of the website, which may be transferred to Google servers in the USA. IP addresses are not stored in Google Analytics 4. We also use Google Ads conversion tracking to measure how well our advertising works.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. Google LLC is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. You can also prevent tracking with Google's browser add-on: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Microsoft Clarity
With your consent we use Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd.) to understand how visitors use the website, for example through heatmaps and session recordings. Clarity uses cookies and collects information such as mouse movements, clicks, scrolling and the device used. Text you type into fields is masked. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. Other third-party content
Icons (Font Awesome) are loaded from the cdnjs.cloudflare.com content delivery network. To deliver this content, the provider necessarily receives your IP address (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Contact by email
If you contact us by email, the data you provide is stored to handle your request and any follow-up questions. We delete it as soon as it is no longer needed. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR. We do not pass this data on without your consent.
